in my bag

In all honesty, it’s “what’s in your diaper bag” since that’s what I am carrying these days!  I thought it would be fitting to do one of these posts since I enjoyed looking at what people tote around (i.e. Alice, Hannah, Brian, Elisabelle and countless others).  As an added bonus, I found out yesterday that I won an *emera bag by entering a giveaway on Kim’s blog.  So I will soon transfer all of these goods to my first official camera bag!

+ I carry everything in a Skip-Hop Duo diaper bag.  I like it, but the flap gets in my way most of the time.  It holds everything though, with a little spare room.

+ My Pentax film camera and spare film.  I should mention that I either carry this camera or my DSLR since they are both pretty hefty.  These days, it’s mostly the Pentax.

+ The only Canon I own – a SD1300 IS point and shoot, a gift from my mom.  I use this for quick captures of my girls during the day.

+ Baby  goods – change of clothes, diapers, wipes, toys.

+ My wallet, iphone, and chap stick.

And there you have it ~

I’d love to see what you carry!

Wow! We are so similar. I carried a Skip Hop bag too with my middle son. I love those bags. And he had the same little baby keychain! Just a different color. And that little tube of baby Aquaphor was also a mainstay in my bag. Annnd the Emera bag was the first camera bag that I put on my wish list after I started researching bags! (I carry an Epiphanie bag now.)

I also did a small series of what’s-in-my-bag photos, with one photo of my bag and the others were photos of some of my students’ bags. It’s always so interesting to see someone’s personality through the things that they carry with them on a daily basis.

Now all I need is a film camera (I can’t wait!) and we will practically be twins! hahahaReplyCancel

I also entered that giveaway but I seldom win anything…congratulations though, the bag looks amazing.

I wish my bag was that empty, I end up carrying far too much and my poor shoulders suffer a lot. Gorgeous bubby feet!ReplyCancel

I tell ya – even though I love any & everything you photograph, i love NOTHING more than seeing those little feet! (LOL!) Babies’ feet are one of my most favorite things on earth so I thank you for always including them :-)

Would love to show you what I have in my bag; problem is – which bag? (LOL!) My Sig.Other says I look like a bag lady when I leave for work. I have my “regular” purse (usual junk + point-n-shoot camera, cell & iPod), THEN I have my ‘big bag’ w/DSLR camera, cards (to send out to sick/shut-ins/pen pals, AND two bags of rubber stamps & ink pads (laughing!) Yes – it’s a mess, but I never know what I will need during the day :-)ReplyCancel
