We enjoyed a quick getaway this weekend. No sunshine to speak of – rain, rain, and more rain…. but at least I had a chance to experiment with shadows and light.
I think that I’ll look at rainy days in a whole new light – they are not so bad after all!

Welcome to the midwest! Rain, rain & more rain. And just when you think you’ve had enough – it rains again (LOL!) I’ve learned to look at rainy days the same way – when it’s dreary, I throw open the curtains, raise the blinds & get the best natural ‘gray’ light I can get. I love the shadows it gives.
