overlooked

I’ve been going through my archives, finally getting some of my work printed and framed to hang on the walls of my home.  I came across these images that I took in Italy during our trip in 2009.  All are digital, and I overlooked each of them because they were out of focus.  Thank goodness I don’t delete photos, even when I might not see that sparkle immediately.

The top 4 images taken in Venice on the banks of the Grand Canal.  The last image is a carousel in Florence, Italy at night.

i wish i had someone looking over my shoulder when i sort through photos. i am very quick to hit the delete button and i know that i sometimes lose a good photo to my own very critical and untrained eye. these are lovely!ReplyCancel

I may even know the name of the square where to find that carousel in Florence! Piazza della Repubblica! I lived not far from there for several years…ReplyCancel
