Kodak Ektar 100
When I saw these blooms outside my window, I smiled quietly to myself. Spring is slowly making her way to the Northeast, even though the sky is cloudy and there is still a little chill in the air.
I love the promise that these blooms hold – Spring is a season of such renewal and awakening.
+ Thanks so much for your wonderful comments on my previous post. It’s so good to know that many of you feel the same way!
+ Also, thanks so much Astrid, who invited me to be a part of her Why do you shoot film? series.
Wow!
The other day I have taked a very similar photo (like the first one). I still haven’t uploaded the picture!
I will make know you !
chao!
so soft so beautiful, I’m still waiting for these!
So softly..exquisitely beautiful. So great to see signs of first spring!
You’re in the northeast? For some reason I thought you were in the South.
Such beautiful images of what’s to come here in New Hampshire. Today we have rain and cloudy skies. Hard to believe it will be warm enough for Hummingbirds in the next 2-3 weeks!
hi! lovely blog! i’m following you at flickr, but i didn’t know about your blog. it’s now favourited!
all your photos are from analogic cameras?
have a nice week!
Hi Roberta! I do have a DSLR, but these days – I have been shooting almost exclusively analog.
These pictures are just what my brain and eyes needed! I was letting myself have a recess from work for a minute and you’re pictures rejuventated me!
i’m so glad i found your blog as well! i love your photos.
beautiful little pink blossoms, i missed them this year. glad to see them here.
Gabrielle, where to start…? I’m pretty sure yours is the only blog that my husband and I follow concurrently. Quite often, we’ll be propped up in bed with our laptops and he’ll be marvelling over the results/clarity/lighting you’re capturing with film while I’m admiring the composition, styling and beauty you unearth in the everyday. Of all the blogs I follow, it’s been a very real pleasure to find yours.
Paula, thank you so much for your kind words! I am truly honored and humbled that both you and your husband enjoy my work~
So pretty. I saw forsythias today for the first time this season. Spring is my favorite season.
Love these photos, especially the third one. The greenish grey in the background = love!
P.S. Typed ‘Gabrielle’ but meant ‘Azzari’, sorry
