Film. Kodak Ektar 100.
One thing that I’ve learned in 8 years of marriage is that is important essential, to reconnect. You have to work even harder to do that if you have children. The “business” of marriage takes such a toll. Taking care of finances, insurance, bills, etc. You can really get caught up in the small stuff. And that’s all that I consider it to be – “the small stuff”.
Which is why nights like these are my favorite. Don’t get me wrong – It’s so hard to find the time, to plan, find a babysitter – so much effort just to get away for a couple of hours. But in the end, it’s worth it. Concentrating on what is important. Us.

In other news, I’m still working on updating this space and I’m loving this new way to display my archives. Such a great way to see a collage of photos I’ve posted here.
You are so right by saying “to reconnect”! it is so easy to forget about it in daily routine!

beautiful way to present your archives and beautiful header.
Film photos of wine. Perfection.
I love this post! Don’t want to admit how long it’s been since date night but we both know it’s waaayyy overdue. At least a year!! Thing is, when you’ve got kids, you can happily ‘dine out’ on date night for several months..remember when we went to..etc.
