a coffee break

Film. Fuji Superia 400.

We spent the end of the week in San Francisco.  So much walking during the day to take in all the sites!

Four Barrel Coffee was a welcome break.  My mocha was perfect – and the entire space was like a coffe lover’s dream.

It was also in San Francisco that I happened upon a great deal on a Hasselblad 500 c/m medium format camera.  A peak at my first photograph.  I have always wanted to try medium format photography – I’ve been going back and forth on whether to upgrade my digital (it’s just been put on hold for a while!).

More to share soon.

That second to last photo is beautiful!
I’ve been wanting to try medium format photography too. I used a Holga and a Diana for a while, but they don’t count. I have my eye on a Mamiya 645. I can’t wait to see your Hasselblad work!ReplyCancel

Very vice pictures. I always love the designs created on the coffee. What kind of reactions do you get when you take pictures in public? Whenever I pull the camera out for shots like this, my mother freaks as if I dropped my pants or something!! Lol. Anyway, good stuff. Good luck with your new toy; looking forward you take with it.ReplyCancel

I’m not much of a coffee drinker and only have it once in a while, but I love how one can transform a cup of coffee into a piece of art! Great pictures! I can almost smell the aroma of the coffee beans.ReplyCancel
