I realized a few things this weekend:
+ Life is short. Too short. (I hugged my littles a bit longer than needed this weekend, and said an extra prayer.)
+ Some things are not worth arguing about.
+ The things that matter most in life are family and friends.
+ Never turn down a last minute Sunday brunch invitation with a girlfriend. You’ll have fun, I promise.
+ When faced with a decision on whether to buy something or experience something, always choose the experience. (Do you remember what you received for Christmas when you were 9? But I bet you do remember the vacation your family took that year.)
+ How you start your morning, particularly if it is a morning by the water, can set the tone for your entire day.
I like mornings like that. Especialy if I have time for stop and thinking a little bit about my life. BBut today is Morning. I an’t stop Not today…
Wise words and so peaceful.
Great shots! I wish I could spend my mornings by the water…
gorgeous, especially the first one
so very true! i live by the water and everyday I take a walk down to appreciate the scenery and the simple things in life.
If serenity had a face, I suppose it would look like this. Thank you sharing these thoughts.
